The Green Man

Todays draw is the Green Man (The Fool) from the Sacred Circle Tarot.   I am relieved to have drawn this card.  This last week and more so the last few days I have slipped in the groove of apathy.  Within this no nothingness state of  'who really cares'  it can be a real bitch just keeping one foot in front of the other.  The helping hands and the scythe yesterday was hopefully a indication that help was on the way to cut away some of if not all of my misery.

He is a bit imposing, and blends in with the rest of the forest.  So hopefully some new venture that I don't have to guess at will be in the offering.  At the very least I need to go hang outside and let this dullness and tinge of hopelessness drain off in to nature.

"The card of the Green Man represents the energy that triggers the process of dawning consciousness arising from discontent and soul searching, the primal force that the seeker encounters and recognizes at a subconscious level."  ~

  1. It really is important to have a purpose - a reason to get out of bed every day. Even if it is as simple as feeding the cats and watering the plants.

  3. It seems we are both feeling a bit under the weather, emotionally speaking. I've just written a post about structures and routine to help me enjoy my day
I hope you can embrace the energy of The Green Man this coming week and enjoy the beauty of Spring!

    1. I am hoping the energy of the Green Man will help me get back in the game. The energy of your Chariot may help you move along to.

  4. I've had those days or weeks all my life.
In my 40's I'd change jobs
In my 50's I'd rearrange the shop
Now in my 60's I don't allow myself to think about it because it will just be slid under the rug as old age.
Take a vacation. Get in the car and come and see me. The worst thing that would happen is you'll be put to work cleaning house and I will have a jammie day.

    1. In my 40's I did change my job and the 50's have been a whirlwind, literally with the tornado. I turn 60 next January and my couple of family members say " you're just getting old." Blah, it is the time of Life where I have earned the right to just have fun.
