Cold water splach

 

Today the King appears disconnected to his surroundings and with himself. He sets apart from his emotions.  We have all been and done something that our "hearts were just not in it" and so it seems to be with the King today. Adrift with his empty cup he seemingly is lost in his own emotional turmoil. We all get stuck there sometimes, the trick is not to stay there. Need to brood, wail, and weep over 2020, okay fine. Tomorrow is a new day and a new year.  Splash some of that cold water on your face and get back in the game.

    Sometimes I need to take a break from all the emotional drama too. But as you said, we can't hide from life forever.
