Talisman

Immediately upon drawing this card I saw the bird, the one just about to get in the middle of something it has no business getting involved in.   Is this the same bird on the end of the stick that the gal was carrying yesterday?  I wondered about that bird yesterday and maybe this card hints at it.

Maybe the gal saw the exchange on the path ahead and of course the bird was killed in the skirmish.  Maybe she picked it up and stuck it on her stick as a reminder to herself, if you go looking for trouble don't blame the consequences on the circumstances.  That bird was in the wrong place at the wrong time by choice.
Maybe the bird is just a reminder to think things through before getting in a argument about  something.
Maybe they are the two canines from the Moon and somehow they have lost themselves from the intuitive path they were on and have reverted to their more basic instincts.

Thankfully I can still look upon most things objectively and have an open mind that I can make up myself.  Thank you very much.

  1. Other people's anger can be like a black hole - it's easy to get sucked in by it when we want to take sides. And I can't blame them because I made the choice to get involved.

    1. Sharyn concludes that our cards are hinting at the same aspects and I think your cards are as well. Change is in the air and I don't think it is the weather.

  2. Crazy, we are on the same page today, though our cards are miles apart.

Once in a great while our doggies will go at it hammer and tong, and then just as suddenly it is over. Maybe sometimes their muteness spills over into aggression. Like people without a voice in the affairs of man?

    1. I replied above to Bev's reply and I think her cards today follow along with yours and mine as well. We must be alert to aggression that is afoot and not be drawn into the confrontations.

  3. I believe aggression is always afoot somewhere. I try to shield myself from the news as much as possible without becoming an ignorant and unconcerned citizen.
Most of the conflicts and horrid situations are far beyond my sphere of influence

    1. Since I am older I am not out and about as much so that limits contact with a lot of conflict, but those niggling thoughts give me some grief.
