Thank God

Thank God. Almost every morning when I wake up and throw my feet over the side of the bed I raise my arms up and say "thank you"  I started the almost daily practice (yes sometimes I forget) when I came home from my tornado recovery. First I was grateful that I got to come home after almost 6months, that I could walk, get out bed by myself, and begin to return to my life. Gratitude to God, Universe, Source, Divine, I AM.
I have learned that Gratefulness is really part of the big secret.  Really be appreciative of what I have and live in the moment.  Not always wishing for more. Being in the right here right now, and being thankful for the right here right now.  THANK YOU!

  1. I'm glad you recovered made it home. And you are so right about gratitude. We humans tend to narrow our focus to only what is painful or unpleasant instead of widening our perspective to see just how much is out there that we do have to be grateful for.

    1. You are right. If you start with just one thing that can lead to many others, and those to many others. I continues in a great spiral. Be Well.

  2. Observant gratitude is one of the best lessons I ever learned. Rob rolls his eyes when I shout thank you for shelter house when I leave :)

    1. He may roll his eyes at you, but silently he is grateful for your time honored practice.

  3. I am so glad to hear you are recovered (perhaps still recovering) from such a major trauma. I have experienced myself that after such a traumatic event gratitude for the little things in life comes so much more natural. When you return form a dark place, every bit a light seems to shine more brightly than it did before

    1. We all must face challenges. Only once did I say "why me?" Cause why not me? If I wasn't where I was at, someone else would have been and I wouldn't wish it on anyone else. Blessed be.

Be Well

My thoughts today are with a friend that is undergoing a major surgery, one that impacts her life. Sending healing energy and loving though...
