Sisters

My sister that lives close by and I are planning on a day trip to see our other 2 sisters in Indianapolis.  There were 5 girls and 2 boys in the family.  Traditional Catholic brood.  Out of the 5 sisters the four of us are still hanging out.  My eldest sister left the Planet many years ago.  So when I saw the 5 Wands, I thought of the 5 sisters.

These 5 wands are all grouped together standing at the ready.  I guess we were that way when we little girls.  There was a lot of years between us, 14 years between oldest and the youngest.  I wonder sometimes how we all were together and all these years later so far apart?  Strangers, yet my Sisters.  The traditional 5 of Wands show a bit of fun and conflict.  I guess it was so with us

  1. I am astounded at how close both families were 5 or 6 years ago, and now it is like we have no family at all. In truth, I can only guess and I might be a million miles off. Enjoy your mini vacation

    1. The only constant in life is change. We change our siblings change and after awhile it can really be challenging to even recognize each other?

  2. I think in my case (having grown up with four step brothers and sisters), we were told what was wrong and right and for the most part we accepted it. Now that we're all older, we've come up with our own ideas about things, and our individual opinions rarely are a close match.

Be Well

My thoughts today are with a friend that is undergoing a major surgery, one that impacts her life. Sending healing energy and loving though...
