Gather ye rosebuds

Most days I forget to be thankful for how truly blessed I am to be Earth bound.  Yes there is pain, sorrow, disappointment. But there are great joys and wonderment. When gone I am from the Earth, what awaits is the etheral.  Time enough to enjoy the Sun on my face, the grass beneath my bare feet.  To appreciate the rose and the thorns. Share moments with friends and family and feathered and fur ones.

    I think those thorns are reminders to appreciate the softness and scent of those roses. :)
