I have never really paid attention to the fact that the three personages in this card are similar to the scales the central character is holding. The card scanned askew, giving me the unbalanced view of the fact that the three of them are the scales. What parts of me are not in balance?  Can I really be objective in or about my life if the central part of me is not in balance? Sometimes I might need to look at things from just a slightly different angle to help me get the full picture.

Those symbols of Taurus and Saturn interest me. Maybe a lover of words spoken in measured terms.

I am not sure what this Six of Pentacles is relaying to me. Just relying on the image and not what the traditional meaning would be, I say that being grounded in a Earth sign has kept me from following those flights of fantasy. Basically I have pretty much everything I need, but it is not enough. Are we ever completely satisfied with ourselves and or our lives? The 'have and have not' in our lives, keeps on the move.

We teach that what we need to learn

This morning I am struck by how similar the Six of Pentacles is to The Hierophant that I drew yesterday.  Previously I had not seen the similarities. One person above two others. The right hand with the same blessing pose and in the left an instrument of knowledge or purpose. Both individuals in the superior position wear a red robe and are bestowing blessings as such, to the subordinate two.
Are we that what we have been taught?  Do we do what we do because of our education?  Can others really determine what we need and need to know? Are we all operating on the passed down information from centuries ago?  I say yes, but we are slowly reprogramming the education of the Spheres.

Share and share alike

Generosity of spirit.  Share and share alike.
Do we give sometimes expecting something back?
A thank you would be nice, but then once given it is no longer ours, so should we be expectant?

Resources

I asked myself this week why so many people cards?  And I asked the cards this morning and received the Six of Pentacles.  From the lack and/or hardship of the Five comes resources to help me get to the Ten.  The resources that help us along the way are not always what we wanted or expected but definitely assist us on the journey.  These  bunnies have shown up to keep her warm and comforted as she rests.  It will be enough to bolster her and let her continue. All the people in the forest this week have let me know I am not alone, when needed another will show up and help just when needed. Advice, a cup of tea, warmth by a fire, water to quench my thirst, a place to lay my head and rest if needed.  Support and companionship is exactly what is needed along the journey in the Forest

I am not very charitable with my thoughts lately. I grow weary of the need of others some days; I think it is one of the reasons I started to isolate myself.  The energy drain can be overwhelming.  The old adage of it is better to give than receive, does not always hold true.

I spent the bulk of my life being a giver.  I figured out early on with all my siblings, might as well give it before they took it.  Either way it has been a life long issue.  Things that have been offered have been viewed with skepticism.  Most gifts I have learned have come with a hook; get something and you can bet they want something back. Is it better to give than receive?Guess it depends on the the situation.
I have a new mantra that I am going to work with.
"Everything is always working out for me"
