Quiescent

It is always darkest before dawn

This card almost feels like a portrait of Demeter, after her long wait of Persephone's return.
At this time of year it almost feels like I am motionless, waiting for the return of Spring.  Winter has dragged on and I long to soak in the warmth of the Sun to take the deep chill from my bones.  The Earth begins her tilt and each day the Sun appears to stay aloft a minute or so more. Soon, Nature will cast off her brown blanket and give us the gift of Green.
I think today would be a good day to do some early Spring cleaning, maybe some clutter clearing to make way for the new that is coming.

  1. exactally who I thought of when I saw the card. Beautiful post. Clear off two chairs, we will be there early-mid September :) Or pick a cafe. Or we can hoist you gently into the 5th wheel and we can visit in our little house, it is all good!

Be Well

My thoughts today are with a friend that is undergoing a major surgery, one that impacts her life. Sending healing energy and loving though...
