Focus

Do or do not, there is no try. ~ Master Yoda

This Ace of Wands reminds to get to it.  I have things I want to do and things I am going to accomplish.  I get this initial rush and then the fire - the energy of a well made plan just kind of fizzles out.  This Ace brings me the energy and focus to finish up what I thought I was going to get done in August.  At the first of every month I think, 'okay a new month let me get this done'.  Well I have four days of August to finish up.
I used be a very focused goal orientated type of person, now not so much.  Times change, I changed.  Yet when I don't finish something I get that kick to my self esteem that leaves me feeling - lacking.  Yuck.
So I am going to take this burst of energy from the wand and work on my to do list before September comes-a-knocking.

  1. Good luck! It helps me to break things down in small, manageable pieces; doesn't seem quite as overwhelming. :)

    1. That's the best way to work on things. Little accomplishments eventually get things done, but I was always make a big splash type of gal.

  2. I'm going to turn this house upside down looking for a cake pan.
I'm going to do it with a timer ticking, I've found I don't dawdle when the timer is ticking.

    1. Isn't that the way of it. When I house clean I attack everything, well I used to. Now work a little here and there, but I still like the all or nothing approach and that's what get me in a mess.

  3. Good luck from me too! This Fiery Ace will be a great motivator. Most of my (not so urgent)To-do's for this month will be migrated to September! The world will not be a less happy place if, for instance I'll won't test my sewing machine or clean out my pantry :)
It is still too hot here to bother.

    1. I watched a UTube video of Dr. Wayne Dyer a few years ago and he was trying to emulate some long ago teacher and release himself of his attachment to worldly goods. He gave everything he had away, even most of his library of materials, moved to Hawaii and lived more mimilmistic. I think sometimes about doing that. Taking it all to Goodwill and just be done with it.

    2. When we went on a camping trip we were always amazed by how little we actually needed to be happy!

Be Well

My thoughts today are with a friend that is undergoing a major surgery, one that impacts her life. Sending healing energy and loving though...
