Regrets, I have a few

To be or not to be-that is the question:
Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer
The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune,
Or to take arms against a sea of troubles,

This stanza from HAMLET, the play by William Shakespeare
came to mind when I drew this card.  Hamlet has married Ophelia the love of his life but should he go on the quest to avenge the murder of his father, leaving his love?
Once committed to a relationship or goal, that should be our main focus, but often times we dwell on those other missed opportunities.

I drew the Ace of Wands yesterday and thought about the energy that is available to get my August check list completed in four days.  I think unlike this individual instead self blame and regret, and not getting it all done in the first place, is to get up and off of my knees and get to work and grab the opportunity to finish what I can.
I still have the promise of tomorrow as long as I am breathing.

  1. I applaud your determination! It's much more easy to whine about it than to get up and actually get things done!!

    1. Some days it is a real challenge. I listen to the imp on my left shoulder that says 'forget about it' then the one on my right shoulder says 'get up and get at it' depends on the day and which shouts louder at me.

  2. A wise choice! I think it is easy to get so caught up in the regrets of the past that we forget about the present. :)

    1. I like everyone else deal with regrets, some days more than others. Every once in a while I try a quest. I go back to that moment of choice that I seem to regret and start on a alternative path and realize that it could be a worse choice, so I come back to the present and say 'okay I am good where I am at.'
