Polaris

Most Tarotist interpret The Star card as hope and healing after the emotional storm of The Tower.  I always want to make a wish when The Star reveals herself.  The 'Wish' card.

" A certain darkness is needed to see the stars." - not sure
I remember reports coming in after the huge earthquake in 1989 that devastated  the San Fransisco and Oakland area in California and one of them struck me as funny and then sad.  People were concerned and scared that the sudden appearance of Stars in the sky must have been the reason for such a huge earthquake, that some astronomical event had occurred... so many had never seen the stars because of so much light pollution from the huge cities.
I grew up in a more rural area and the stars were glorious and the happenstance to see a 'shooting star' was a very auspicious sign.
So I am going to 'make my wish' and enjoy my day.

  1. I hope you'll have a great day and that you wish will come true. :)

  2. I wished on a star from childhood right up to about five years ago. I was so depressed at that juncture, I deliberately stopped, I knew nothing would help..nothing prettier than a billion stars on that backdrop. While I can no longer see the moon properly I can still see stars. Why not celebrate?

    1. Our Sun is a Star in our Solar System. Guess we can wake up every morning and wish on that,

  3. Every time I see this card, I want to tell the woman that it is hard to find guidance to navigate life when she keeps staring at her feet. :) Wishing for your wish to come true.

Be Well

My thoughts today are with a friend that is undergoing a major surgery, one that impacts her life. Sending healing energy and loving though...
