Know thyself

 

I have deceived myself. An Empress should know herself. Heavy lays the crown if we are not sure what we have to work with. My deception is, I will never be friends with Winter. I told myself that I would accept and become friends with the cold and with 2 days of frigid temperatures, I acknowledge that I and Winter will never be on friendly terms.

    friendly enemies. Hearty rivals. Worthy adversary. Valiant villain that will lose in the end. It was still lightish here at 5 PM yesterday, longer days are acomin'.

    Look for its usefulness. Down here the mosquitoes would carry us off if we didn't have any cold weather. We always see some different birds too. Do you have a bird feeder for songbirds?
