springs eternal

Hope springs eternal in the human breast;
Man never is, but always to be blessed:
The soul, uneasy and confined from home,
Rests and expatiates in a life to come.

I have heard the phrase 'Hope springs eternal' but never read the poem above from Alexander Pope.  I like that short poem, a tidy summary of our lives.
There have been times that I have all but given up any hope, for me, for others, for the lovely planet Earth, and then something stirs my soul and I grab the tether of hope and hold on.
So much to hope for. I will start for peace on Earth and goodwill for women and men and children, for trees, and plants, and all the animals that share our space.

Be Well

 My thoughts today are with a friend that is undergoing a major surgery, one that impacts her life. Sending healing energy and loving though...
