flip/flop

The other side of the World

Crucis, the Star pattern of the Southern Cross, or one of the stars in the Southern Cross.  Not something I will get to witness first hand, since I have never or ever will travel to the Southern Hemisphere. I can view it from online accounts and witness the magnificence of sky from the Northern point of view.  In the Rider Waite-Smith Tarot the Ace of Swords is pointing up; guess it is pointing down in this depiction since it is viewed from the southern perspective.
So maybe today I need to view something from a different vantage point.

  1. Makes me think of the song "Southern Cross" by Crosby, Stills and Nash. Stills said it was about a long boat trip he took to heal after his divorce.

  2. Not many are point down, (just did an info junkie search of google images and my own blog) One was viewed as block, like a line in the sand. A place our mind won't go? This is a deck I've never had, I do have the Spiral by the same group.

    1. I have seen many more decks than me. The ones i have view the sword is always facing up. Maybe a thought I will have will be stuck or maybe an upside down pattern to my thoughts of late.

Be Well

My thoughts today are with a friend that is undergoing a major surgery, one that impacts her life. Sending healing energy and loving though...
