Those were the days my friend

Gather ye rosebuds while ye may.

This king appears younger than most, but a king he is.  I have never much cared to be given advice by supposedly 'learned' men.  This guy those seems to say indulge yourself and enjoy life.  Now that is advice I can get behind.

On the note of kings and old men that make decisions for us.  I still cannot understand why women, all and any, voted for the orange bastard.  Seventy years old and unabashedly a womanizer, they voted him and his cronies in to make decisions for women.  What old man can make those for us?  For all women and their daughters, and nieces, and granddaughters.  I fear that the greatest woman, Mother Earth, is going to take matters into her own hands.  Then watch out, for that woman scorned.
Sorry, I got on my high horse this morning.

  1. And a great horse it is. I absolutely agree with you about mr. Orange. :)
Your king is somewhat easier to approach than mine this morning and he would definitely be a better Santa!

    1. He has all those grapes to share and probably has a flask of wine made from those grapes under his robe.

  2. I agree about women who voted for the over-ripe cantaloupe. Perhaps they never had a Nine of Pents experience, and so prefer for people to tell them what to do. That is my version of hell.
So many folks are too self-centered to care about our effects on the planet. I'm sure Mother Earth will outlive her pesky humans.

    2. I read that as 9 of pants...gotta get some new eyes. On the other hand he is seemingly frugal. One suit, 3 ties.

  3. My head hurts from thinking about it. You know what is so weird about out presidency? Such a big deal about the women who have campaigned about it. OH NO WOMAN IN OFFICE??? Dozens of countries, both better or worse than ours have gone right along doing the business of governing. Merkle and May, Indira Gandhi..of course there was Imelda Marcos.. queens up the ying yang. But then we now have daughter president, so maybe out screws are in the right holes and we're coming up to speed. (har har)

    1. I agree with Ellen the horse is the right height.

I do wonder what a historian in a hundred years will make of our society based on who got voted in...
