Go figure

I have been challenged by this deck this week.  The booklet suggests drawing two cards for a reading or advice.  The Tarot usually follows a story line, these Lenormand cards do not.  No way around it, card 13 in no way logically follows card 12?
The best I got with these two cards is my intuition advises me to play.  Or, maybe going really deep, be careful which tree and branches you cut down for your water trough(play and day to day life) because it might be the thing that holds the owls(wisdom) who eat mice that get in your grain). Then you have to spend your day chasing mice instead of play.

Don't cut yourself off from your highest self or good.

CELTIC Lenormand

  1. Together these card remind me of the innate wisdom and intuition of young children. They seem to lose or we as adult discourage this when they get older and learn to think more logically

    1. Very true. Sometimes I look at a picture of my younger self and try to figure out what she knew before I forgot.

  2. These two make me think of when I'm trying to come up with an idea or a solution and feel stymied. Then when I'm off enjoying myself (not thinking about anything in particular), an idea or solution pops into my head. :)

    1. That is really a good thought. And it is true place your thoughts else and the subconscious will continue on with the puzzle until it figures it out. Thanks for that interpretation.

  3. I had to look up Lenormand 13, I thought it was about the boat. I confess I Don't know everything about everything. But it seems to me you and Bev both have good stories. They also define my own "working wall of the mind". I really get good ideas when I'm not thinking about something.

    1. I have heard you use that term 'working wall of mind' and really like that mental pegboard image. I just have this one Lenormand deck after seeing on Ellen's page and loved the imagery, but really I don't pay much mind to the booklets. What I see, you see, the author sees, can vary. Sometimes I need help so assistance is appreciated from you, from others, and or the booklets.
