Vortex

St. Patrick's Well, Ireland; considered a gateway to the netherworld.

Makes me nauseous looking at the well.  In fact I keep diverting my eyes from the card.  The wind was continuous last night and I have not slept well.  I have never been comfortable with heights and after falling from out of the vortex of twisting turning wind and debris this image is a bit disturbing to me.  Ten of Wands can speak of burdens to carry and so thus I must carry this scar on my psyche.

  1. Just keep reminding yourself that what you experienced is in the past, it isn't happening now. Do a 360 degree turn and look for good things to focus on here in the present. (((Carolyn)))

  2. You don't have to justify your thoughts or feelings, you earned them. Perhaps you could work on a day to day book about your experiences. There are probably days or weeks you still haven't remembered or acknowledged. Your journey is nearly one of a kind. ..

    1. I am sure there are people with more tragic stories. I am coming up on the 5th year anniversary, March 2. I can feel the stress and anxiety begin to build. I am much better, but still. You know, you too have gone through your trials and tribulations.

  3. I can imagine how disturbing this card must make you feel. if I were you I would have pulled a second one for today. I hope the rest of you day will be more comforting for you

    1. Sometimes I am tempted to reinsert a card and redraw, but I have learned what is is. So best acknowledge it sooner than later. It's a Full Moon today which makes me and others much more emotional and no sleep just compounds my anxiety.

Be Well

My thoughts today are with a friend that is undergoing a major surgery, one that impacts her life. Sending healing energy and loving though...
