By the ounce

 

No matter the choice made, there is always some kind of complication, a stick right in the middle of our path. Chaos is always at hand, how one chooses to react is a choice. 'Go with the  flow' sure, as long as you plan for contingencies. 

An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

    you said once what other people think is none of my business, and I think of that often, when my reactions to what someone else does ruins my day.
    The log sticking up isn't the problem, it is what is hidden under the water that turns the boat over.
