It's a good day to have a good day. Everyday has something to celebrate, somedays we have to remind ourselves. Just go outside, throw your arms in the air, and say thank you. Gratitude is the Abracadabra. Use your arms as magic wands and shout, YES! Thank you!
Rider Waite-Smith Tarot
That reminds me of a story of a young woman who had a morning ritual of greeting the directions; at the end, she would use the NA phrase, "It's a good day to die." One morning her elderly mother was sitting with her while she did this and said, "But it's a good day to live too." :D
ReplyDeleteI am not afraid of dying, living is a bit harder, but very much worth it.
DeleteI'm in! We've been shopping for shrubs to fill in under the new trees. One of the magnolia has fist sizeds buds! tea time, a blessing, then to town for the pipe and plates for our new watering system. OUtside! Amazing concept! I actually had to wipe sweat off my brow! :)
ReplyDeleteI like the thought of both of my arms as 'magic wands' Look how much magic they bring or do. Planting a tree, holding a hand, waving, and hugging. Magic.
