Six of Feathers, traditional card, Six of Swords
From birth to death we are always on the move, from here to there. Change and transition are part of life. I am Carolyn, but not the Carolyn that became Sixty-one years ago, nor will I be the same tomorrow as I am today. What do we give or give up along the way?
On another note, I love dragonflies. Skipping around from here to there in late summer. No matter what I am doing I will stop and take the time to admire them. On these cold, colorless days of winter, this dragonfly reminds me that Spring always follows Winter and soon I will see the dragonflies of Summer.
SPIRITSONG Tarot - Paulina Cassidy
Perhaps I have always known everything important but will need a lifetime to discover what I know. Tarot and Oracles offer me guides and sign posts to help me along my way.

Our dragonflies are small and primarily blue here
ReplyDeleteIridescence, fleeting, flowing colors are what fascinate me. I wonder if there is something in the water that gives them out there a blue sheen?
DeleteI imagine you've gained as much or more than you've given up. We have dragonflies in all sorts of colors here; I love to see them, but they don't sit still for long!
ReplyDeleteDashing, hovering, zipping to and fro, constantly on the move. No wonder they are so long and slender.
