A job worth doing is worth doing well.
Seem to have a theme going these last few days about the fruits of one's labor. Here is yet another doing what he does best. It is possible he picked up a tree limb and saw the wand that laid within, yet it still took years of practice to fine tune his carving skills and the art of wand making. With a bit of fairy dust to waken the magic of the wands and they are complete.
We put our pride into our work and hope others appreciate what we have done or created. Do what you love and others will notice; if not there is still self-satisfaction of a job well done.

ReplyDeleteTo be pleased with ourselves and our job well done, is good enough.
DeleteI've been asked numerous times 'why don't I work in a fabric store or quilt shop? Wouldn't that be a dream job?'
ReplyDeleteNo. Sounds horrible to me, I don't want to do for a living what I do from passion.
