Let's get a move on!
I wonder how giddy-up got started. I am pretty sure horses and I know bunnies do not know what giddy-up means. The horse responds to the spurs or heels of the rider digging into their flanks. Bunnies I am sure, can only be ridden by fairies who probably do the same to them.
Makes me think of the saying, 'my get up and go, got up and went.'
Time for me to take action on my day and giddy-up and go!

re: spurs. I'd like to spur every person that has ever used them.
ReplyDeletere: shock collars. We put up an invisible fence many years ago and wore the collar ourselves to see if it worked. It went off all over the 2.5 acres. The dogs missed the bullet on that, it was returned.
I think those collars are brutal too. Lazy people who don't want to take the time to train their pets. Next generation they will be putting them on their kids to get them to behave.
Delete"my get and go, got up and went". I had to Google that one. It's quite hot and humid here so not much giddy up for me today.
ReplyDeletean old idiom. It is hot and humid here today as well. Seems like we all most went from Winter to Summer. Oh well, guess Mother Nature has her ways.
DeleteSame here - tropical storms and 90F plus temperatures make me want to hang up my cowgirl hat and kick off my boots!
ReplyDeleteAnd Summer hasn't even started. Whew what will late July and August be like.
