Where's Carolyn?

All work and no play...

Whew, after four days of work cards and the cards suggest taking a break, a moment of joy and fun.  How often do we give ourselves permission to enjoy the day.  To sneak off to a private picnic.  Walk away from the work-a-day and have fun.  Not many.  We plan our work week, household chores, t.v. viewing, grocery lists, even our vacations.  I remember Summer days out of school, when we were shood out of the house and off we went; climbing trees and playing in a nearby creek.  Hide n Seek after the Sun set in a neighboring yard, and what about a really good came of dodge-ball. 
Life can be as complicated or not as we make it.  Today's card reminds me to play.

    Summer holidays.. They seemed neverending... So much more hours in a day. Perhaps it the magic of a child, to be able to stretch out time..?

      Well it was mostly work, but I did go get a pedicure, so that's something!
