I wonder how people can really see this as a definitive expression of The Devil.
I have mentioned before and will again. Devil spelled backwards is Lived, such a wonderful anagram.
An excerpt from Rachel Pollacks SEVENTY EIGHT DEGREES OF WISDOM pertaining to The Devil - "The Devil's power rests in the illusion that nothing else exists. In a great many situations, from political oppression to the personal misery of a bad family life, people only become consciously unhappy when they realize that life holds other alternatives."
So, the loose chains we bind ourselves with are our own making.
A life not 'lived' is a 'devil' of a thing.

Perhaps I have always known everything important but will need a lifetime to discover what I know. Tarot and Oracles offer me guides and sign posts to help me along my way.

ReplyDeleteI deal with it everyday. Most people want someone else to decide on their behalf so if things go wrong they have someone to blame.
DeleteThat 'all or nothing,' 'my way or the highway' attitude wraps those chains around necks quick. Like you anagram!
ReplyDeleteMaybe I should have said an insightful anagram instead of lovely.
