Perplexed

I have no idea why she is visiting today.  Nothing.  I look at her rising up from the water; that's enough to catch my attention.  All I can of think of is why is she not dripping wet?
First appearance can be deceiving.  I am baffled.

    wishing she had one of those newfangled bathing costumes, black wool, only going to the knees and elbows, such freedoms
