Cougar, an interesting Emperor.  This is not some stodgy stuck in place Emperor.  This one is flexible and moves throughout his kingdom.  So today I will not get hung up on some dogma and move freely throughout my day.  Life is better lived than delivered.

I say this to myself sometimes, I am going to do...because.  Because I can.  Sometimes I think of some of those because moments and wish I could still do them. Body and mind changes and, limitations set in.  The other day a juvenile praying mantis visited my home.  It was walking across the deck rail and started its climb up the shepherd hook with a basket of petunias. At the top of crook it just hung there upside down.  I spent ten minutes(probably five) watching her hang there. Why? because she could was all that I could get a sense of.  Getting a different perspective maybe.  Sometimes we do things just because, no special meaning or intent, just because.

Down by the sea.  It would be an adventure to collect seashells with this pelican.  I think she knows where all the best one are.  Reminds me to enjoy shared company.

Twelve Days

Two Turtle Doves...I love birds, well most birds, not the cooing doves.  Their constant cooing and pooping in around areas of bird feeders make them a pain.  Opportunist feeders.  They thrive on corn, the cheapest feed at the station and so many homeowners who stock the feeders do so with mostly corn.
For today I will watch out for pest.
Kind of pessimistic, but everyone gets a day like that.

Change, Camouflage, Concealment, Chromatophores, Carolyn.  C is the word for the day, I noticed the clocks in the lower left hand corner. Time pieces that resemble The Wheel. 
This card feels more like The High Priestess, looking into the eyes of this octopus is like slipping in to the deep fathoms where the priestess can take us.
I did not know that the lifespan of an octopus is about a year. The Wheel turns pretty quickly for them.  I wonder what I could get done in a year? One way to find out.  And the Wheel turns.

Clever really

I love the artwork of this deck.  Soft muted colors, whimsical in nature. The cards don't read much like tarot, maybe more like a oracle. That might be the whole point.  I may have repetitive interpretations of cards that have the same theme.  This Knight of Feathers seemingly has nothing in common with our traditional Knight of Swords.  This knight seems to be on the other side of the looking glass.  Everything acts and looks different on the other-side, a different vantage point.
For today while out and about, I should consider a different observation from traditional appearances.
