"When fisherman cannot go to sea, they stay home and repair their nets." ~ Nabil Sabio Azadi
I have not heard this interesting quote before. Gives me pause to ponder.
Perhaps I have always known everything important but will need a lifetime to discover what I know. Tarot and Oracles offer me guides and sign posts to help me along my way.
My thoughts today are with a friend that is undergoing a major surgery, one that impacts her life. Sending healing energy and loving though...
bit like me cleaning my teapots today!

DeleteI like that quote. Reminds me that even when I can't do what I'd like, there's always something else I can do in the meantime.
ReplyDeleteI really like the quote too. Guess it is heard more around the fishing ports.
DeleteI'm having a day when I don't (yet) feel like doing anything at all but read. The quote reminds me that outward activity isn't the only desirable way; that tending to myself is okay too and there's a time for it. I can particularly relate that to the covid year we've had, when many have had to learn how to "be" with ourselves and each other at home. A nice, and memorable, quotation.-Kate
